This policy explains what personal data Roundkeeper processes when you visit this site, contact us, or buy a dataset licence, and the choices you have. It is a starting template and must be reviewed before accepting payments. TODO(legal): confirm the controller entity, address, and any representative.
Data we process
- Purchase data (name, email, company, billing details) — processed to fulfil your licence. Card details are handled by Stripe; we do not store them.
- Contact enquiries (name, email, company, message) — processed to respond to you.
- Usage data (IP address, user agent, pages viewed) — processed for aggregated, privacy-friendly analytics.
Why and on what basis
To perform our contract with you (fulfilling a licence), for our legitimate interests (operating and improving the service, preventing abuse), and to comply with legal obligations (tax and accounting).
Who we share it with
Service providers acting on our behalf, including Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting), and our email provider. We do not sell personal data. TODO(legal): list subprocessors and locations, and provide a DPA on request.
Retention
Purchase and tax records are kept as long as required by law; enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle them.
Your rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or port it. Contact [email protected] to exercise them. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
Cookies and analytics
This site runs privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies to profile you. No advertising trackers are used.
